Job Overview

World Vision Uganda is inviting applications from qualified and passionate candidates for the position of Project Officer. The successful candidate will work closely with local communities to plan, implement, and monitor sustainable development and child well-being initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate community engagement and mobilization for local development programs.
• Monitor project milestones, track field progress, and prepare detailed evaluation reports.
• Collaborate with local government leaders, partner NGOs, and stakeholders.
• Ensure all activities conform to World Vision child protection and safeguarding policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Project Management, or related fields.
• At least 2–3 years of practical experience in community-based project coordination.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
